Recently while playing Dungeons and Dragons, i wound up playing a game as a Half-elf Bard, it was a town festival, and i had managed to charm a local village lass into bed with my character , and while enjoying the pleasures of the flesh, the full moon came into view, and i wound up in bed with a were-rat.(told you this was immature)

but my question is, in your eyes, would Lycanthropy be a Sexually Transmitted Diesease

sigh. Immature? maybe. Inappropriate? Certainly.

Lycanthrophy is delivered by wounds, if you must know what I think.

Hopefully, then, she wasn't a "dig her fingernails into your back during the throes of passion" kind of local village lass.

However, even if your PC doesn't end up afflicted with the curse of lycanthropy, there's the possible problem of having mental images of the time his partner turned into a wererat during mid-boink pop into his mind every time he attempts future intimacy. There's a good chance that just might affect his future performance.

Some legends of lycanthropy include the possiblity of passing it on in the throws of passion, it seems a moot point since you were suddenly engaged in hand to hand combat with a were-rat while your AC was probably a 14 at best...
