I'm a little sad we couldn't pick up any assault rifles but that's understandable I suppose. Like I said in character there's little to no need for a 50cal weapon in the group unless J.R. is trying to stop a fleeing vehicle or something, it's just overkill yet technically still falls in the lic +1 restriction haha. [QUOTE="Rubberneck, post: 6676864, member: 6763059"] J.R. steps out of the car and falls in behind Feral, offering a hand to Deena, "J.R. Lockwood ma'am, pleased ta meet yun." He follows them through the barn feeling almost at home. It took him back to his days in the Rangers. He approaches the tables with the multitude of weapons laying on them and studies them intently. He spends the day firing pretty much all of the weapons available. He was completely professional the entire time and shakes his head as Cyril almost blows his off, but remains silent and continues practicing. He spends the most time with the rifles provided, especially the Barrett .50. He hefted it up into the air with a look of pure joy on his face, and carried it over to where he was stationed, finally dropping prone. He considers warning the others but smiles to himself and doesn't, pulling the trigger. The world seems to stop spinning, the kick of the rifle rattles his entire body, and the sound is defining even with ear protection. The puff of dirt from under the barrel makes it almost impossible to see if the metal target 500 yards out was hit but with a 50 it doesn't matter. If it were a human target the sheer hydrostatic shock wave that follows the bullet would peel skin from the body if within 6 or so inches. If the sniper's aim was true and hit target center mass the body would most likely explode like there were a grenade at it's feet. There was absolutely no reason he needed the weapon but he wanted it, these were usually used on light armored vehicles and could crack an engine block without breaking a sweat, and there was no way he'd pass up firing it. He looks over at the group with a giant smile on his face, no doubt they were staring at him, hell Cyril probably crapped his pants. At the end of the day he is also extremely hungry and is thrilled with the mention of BBQ. He takes the time to help Deena pack everything up, "I ain't had nuthin ti eat all day. I dun know where yun got dat 50 but it made my day. Little disappointed yun not have any AR15's or nuthin but whatever, doubt they'd let me have it anyways."
