"Very much real, Cyril. Or at least, I think so. If our thoughts can be real, that is. I think they can." He handed the business card to Cyril. "Here. Otter," he smiled, "seems reluctant to take this. Can't say I blame her." Bukowski turned to Otter. "This is the second specimen I've seen in seven years. You can imagine my excitement when Beatrice called." He rocked back on his heels for emphasis, smiling. "Why don't we venture upstairs and join T-dawg, J.R., and Feral?" Bukowski re-opened his black case and tucked the second tin of acid into the case's innards. Picking up the locked case, he headed for the stairs. He left the acidpus where it laid on the floor. Upstairs, Keihn finished chewing a large mouthful of eggs and sautéed vegetables. He swallowed, took a sip of his coffee. "I brought a biologist to look at the creature. He's downstairs right now...I stand corrected. Charles," Keihn stood up and made introductions around the room, "this is T-dawg, J.R., Feral. And of course you've already reconnoitered the creature with Otter and Cyril. Coffee?" Keihn offered coffee to any takers. Bukowski directed a shrewd look at Feral. "Say something more about what you mean, Feral? I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the circumstances of your encounter with the acidpus, as Otter so aptly named it." Amusement tinged the Professor's lips.
