Guran gave thanks to Fharlanghn, and Spec--nodding--reached out a hand and bestowed healing energy on the dwarf to the tune of [roll0] points. As the party attempted to decide whether to retreat or go elsewhere further into the hold, the double doors were suddenly flung open wide. Inside lay a series of antechambers, and a wide hallway that yawned toward a cavernous hall to the north. To the east and west, there appeared to be narrow hallways prior to the hall. Fulgrim and Guran could make out no less than seven kobolds, yet another dark-skinned elf--this one a comely young she-elf who bore a long gnarled stave crafted of some queer-looking grey material, and the old crone she-elf with lank gray hair and tattered robes of indeterminate color they'd encountered previously. The crone raised a finger and began casting a spell. [ooc]Roll initiative! No one is surprised, thanks to Spec's and Guran's Perception and warning. Then again, no one inside the series of rooms to the north looks surprised, either. I'm aware that Spec has a light spell going. I believe the duration is one hour; if that's so, then Guran's light spell is also still active. If the duration is ten minutes, Guran's spell is snuffed. If your character doesn't have darkvision, please factor that in as you decide on actions. The large light grey circle on the map below indicates the limit of Fulgrim's 60' darkvision (centered on him).[/ooc] k = kobold ILV = young she-elf with stave E = crone she-elf
