I have an idea how to combine the unbreathing and the other gods. Merodak could serve the GODS of death and destruction. the wind scene on the dais in room 3 could show people sufocating, (spelling?) loss of air rather than gusting air. so that the breathless one could be one of the gods of death and destruction. perhaps merodak created a cult that combined the worship of the 4 element gods of destruction. (I was originally gonna do a 4 hrosemen kind of thing, war, famine, pestilence, and crap what's the 4th) that could have been the battle that Merinol was killed in. of course eventually the war went bad for Merodak and he was killed his followers killed them sleves to stay with their leader. just an idea. I guess that the question is why don't the other gods have individule shrines but that could be answered by making room 6, 7, 9 originally shrines to the other gods that were adaptivally reused. ignore their original purpose. Oh wait I have another edit better /edit idea. We could also just make the god of Asphyxiation, the god that Merodak worships. I could change the scenes on the side of the dais to be that all the people are Asphyxiating due to one of the elements. can't breath (no air) burried alive (no air) drounding (no air) Fire with lots of smoke (can't breathe) Merodak probally was killed when he decieded to have his flock worship him rather than the god. (hence the emmence burial chamber and just a little shrine for the god. maybe all the followers burried under the floor, where buried alive. (rather than commiting suside when their cleric died) If anyone checks Merodak's corp[se there is still a hunk of food or something stuck in his partially mumified wind pipe.
