Because Cooperative Dungeons are popular and becoming bigger than my original "experiment", we need to make these dungeons cleaner and more legit. Mark of CMG greatly helped me to achieve this, and put together a disclaimer that I added in the first post of the CD1 and CD2 threads:
"Be advised that by adding content to this thread germane to the project, your content might be used (in whole or in part) in an upcoming 'Collective Dungeon' release. You will be given credit for your work, for which we will need your actual name * since we will have express your copyright over the material you provide. Be assured that the project is meant as a community activity with the intention to distribute it freely, though we (or other publishers) may also contact you in regards to your copywritten material for subsequent approval of other publication. Some of your material, by virtue of being current or derivative OGC, may also be used under the terms of the OGL.
* Write your real name beside the name of your entry"
Because CDx adventures will be more numerous, this is necessary in order to not have our project chopped-off to some legal technicality in the future. Like Mark said; "We're playing in WotC's sandbox, we have to play by their rules". He will also help me to make sure that every CDx adventure is OGL compliant. I cannot thank him enough for his heads-up and expertise in this project.
For those of you who already gave me their full names, you do not need to worry, I'll do my homework and put your name beside the room(s) you contributed. As Mark also stipulated, this could be beneficial to you if the adventure falls in an interested party's hands and fancies your room, and is looking for freelancers.
For those of you who didn't give me their full name, please do it IN THIS THREAD, not in the thread you posted your room's description. Write your name, the adventure you contributed (CD1: Terror and Blasphemy and/or CD2: Halls of Anarchy), and the room number(s) you created, and I will implement the info in the compilations.
For future CDx dungeons, you will have to put your full name and nickname (René "Trainz" Mongrain) next to the room title.
I am sorry for the inconvenience, I should have thought about doing this earlier, but this is a learning process for me.
-"You're making this up as you go !"
Yes I am.
