Actual I many of her worships were bards and the predatory nature of avengers fits. Another type that would surprise you, but would fit is paladins, not only because of the importance of charisma, but because I figure that Glorious Servitors of Bast, from lost empires, would have served the function of Paladins in her church. Three things I would have loved to have play played in 3.5 Mulan human Favoured Soul/CoS with Southern Magigian feat, cleric 3/GS 7/Barbarian or Duskblade 10, or a changeling Archivist/Dancer of Sharess. Anyway I was thinking warlock because of the powers origin, I mean it is not something anyone can do, it is power given by Sharess. In reality in 4e terms the CoS used a crap load of different power sources, Flirtation work simular to bardic music, but different enough to be its own thing, Fury of the Tigeress and the other Tigeress powers would be Primal power source, the spells were arcane and worked more like sorceror spella then bard in that they could benifit from silent spell metafeat, yet it came from a god which screams divine, (plus with the right feat the spells could be cast as divine or with the shadow weave feat shadow as well!). Very interesting class and had the bab been better a powerful one. A changeling wizard/CoS with morphic familiar could be interesting as well. Hexblade made the most sense to me as bards get thier powers from intense musical training, while hexblades make deals. Still I could see CoS as Arcane barbarians as well. very tough class to place in 4e. Glorious Servitor on the other hand either avenger or paladin, with Paladin being where I'd lean towards, with GS having very defensive abilities. GS would have made a wicked fourth build or even a pp. DoS Avenger with leader minor definately. Blackguards I could see as those clerics (now paladins) that leaned towards evil as Sharess has the Lust portoflio.
