Celestius Ex, 2nd Edition, is NOW AVAILABLE on <a href="http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=2498&">www.rpgnow.com </a> and <a href="http://www.paperstreeetgames.com">www.paperstreetgames.com</a>.
As the war rages on, players must choose how they will fight for God and save humanity, one human at a time. Set in modern times, the players must choose whether they will play a powerful angel, a vigorous human, or a formidable half-demon known as a wilding. With 4 subtypes in each type, a skill-based system, and a diverse attribute system, players can make almost any kind of character they could want in a game.
• A Christian-based Roleplaying Game
• 3 types of races with 4 subtypes in each one, which totals 12 races
• OGL-Compatible
• Skill-based system
• The Game uses a d20 die primarily, but players and GM also need a d4, d6, d8, d10, and d12.
• An attribute system that allows for almost any power to be created.
• To aid GM’s, the game presents many stats for Demons, Abominations, Aberrations, and humans, which are ready for immediate use
• Additional Features such as Temptation
• Information on the world and GM advice to help a GM get any game ready for a session
• 239 pages long
Celestius Ex, First Edition, was released over a year ago with high praise. While keeping the great setting, the game has been enhanced with a new system, which allows it to be more compatible with many other rpgs on the market. Also, several new adventures and setting expansions are planned for this year. For instance, the futuristic campaign setting for Celestius Ex will be Nebular Ex (use to be known as Nebular Cross) that allows characters to play angels, talents and wildings in a gritty futuristic setting. Also, there will be a historical campaign setting allowing players to create angels and other characters between 0-200 AD. With new material on the website and additional books, players and GM will be able to play in almost any setting.
In several months, look for the soft cover, Celestius Ex on the web and in stores near you.
Crown of Thorns Studio is a small rpg publishing company that produces Christian-based rpgs for all Christian and Non-Christian gamers. Our number one goal is to produce good and enjoyable rpgs that will bring days of fun and fellowship.
