I've been working on a character, a Paladin(Warlock) that neglects Strength in favor of Charisma. He plays fine, I'm just wondering if anyone has suggestions for how to do this. Here are his stats: The tactics of this character are mainly for him to help the fighter defend the rest of the party and keep everyone high on hitpoints by soaking damage and healing it. When it comes to big bads or casters, he teams up with the fighter, uses Divine Challenge on the big bad, and then eyebites so that the big bad either has to hit the fighter and take damage and a negative to attack or take the -5 to attack from the Paladin being totally concealed. The other abilities are simply gravy. The general idea is he's sort-of a cheeky unaligned Paladin of Ioun who Challenges enemies to a game of "Catch me if you can!". He learns the mysteries of the Fey because of Ioun's command to learn, and he follows Ioun's tenets with a straightforward ideal of always telling the truth and always speaking forthrightly (to explain why such a unintelligent character would follow the God of Reason, since Ioun is also the God of Truth). He isn't strong, but he makes up for it with sheer willpower and determination (high cha, will, con) and staying power. So yeah. What do you think? Comments? Changes to be made? Questions?
