Some years ago I made a chainmail halter top for a friend who was running a fashion show, it covered the upper chest and most of the abdomen, but not much else, it wasnt a bikini as such. Even failed artists like myself have limits of decentcy... actually no I dont thats a complete lie... Im human scum, lets face it I made a chainmail halter top for money and I like human nudity too much :D Anyway, it looked good after I laquered it shiny black, weighed about 4-5kgs and would stop knives quite well, so I grabbed the weediest guy in the house and made him wear it for a few minutes just to see if hung ok. Skinny guy, skinny model, whats the difference apart from an ugly face :p Anyway he started bitching about the weight on his neck, it nearly tore out a nipple ring and abraded the other nipple right off, he wouldnt actually let me stab him with my sabre so it wasnt completly tested. Reluctantly, with hours to go I sewed up a lining with some black taffeta and that sort of took care of the chaffing bit but by this stage everyone else who would serve as a testbed quite wisely went running for their lives. So's I get the mail and run down to give it to my friend and meet the model and do a final fitting. She's all of about 5'2 tall and 40kgs at most and someone is expecting her to wear this all night? Well, she did. Without complaint and actually bought the damn thing! Women, strange creatures. It did look damn fine I must say though :D
