I have 2 related house rules I would like to get some feedback on. First, in the Complete Adventurer are a variety of feats that work when combining 2 classes (like Monk and Ranger or Paladin and Rogue). These feats usually do something like let the 2 class levels stack to get a benefit from one of the classes (for example, Ascetic Hunter lets you add levels of Ranger and Monk to determine the Monks unarmed damage). These feats also let you freely multiclass between the two classes (because you would normally have to halt Monk and Paladin advancement if you multiclassed to a different class). However, we use a houserule that Monks and Paladins are free to multiclass anyway. Therefore those feats dont get that part of the benefit. I was thinking of changing the feat to instead allow the 2 classes to multi-class as if one was a "favored class". For example, if you were playing an Elf (favored class: Wizard) Monk / Ranger, you could take Ascetic Hunter and then multi-class Monk and Ranger without the 20% XP penalty. How does that sound? Second, I would like to submit for approval another feat similar to the ones mentioned (if you have Complete Adventurere, you will note that this feat is extremely similar to the ones in their, just creating one for a Druid combo). The Ascetic Woodsman Your years of living in the wilderness and fending for yourself has taught you to become one with yourself and your surroundings. Prerequisites: Improved Unarmed Strike, Wild Empathy Benefit: If you have levels in Druid and Monk, the levels stack for determining your AC bonus. For example, if you have a human 4th level Druid/1st level Monk, you would have a +1 bonus to AC, as if you were a 5th-level Monk. If you have levels in Druid and Monk, the levels stack for determining your Speed bonus, For example, if you have a human 4th level Druid/2nd level Monk, you would have a +20 bonus to speed, as if you were a 6th-level Monk. In addition, You may freely multiclass between the two classes, as if the class you have the highest level in, was a "favored class". You must be Lawfl Neutral to meet the requirements of both classes, however.
