If you have not played with the rules "as is," then do so before you make the selected change. I assume that your Wound Point won't be similar to WP mechanics in the rulebook, whereas once you begin to take damage to WP you are automatically fatigued (see condition summary). I don't know. A feat, particularly a force feat usually modifies a PC's talent through his checks and roll. Some force feat enhances or expands the use of certain force skills. Now if you prefer to go the Psion's (or Psychic Warrior) mechanics (treat them as magic-like manifesting powers), then you might as well just convert those D&D classes for Star Wars. Then again, a lot of gamers would ask you "why?" The skill-and-feat system is a lot more appealing than the magic-like talents found in the PsiHB. A moot point, personally. In order to multiclass to any force-user class later in gameplay, you must first possess Force-Sensitive feat. Of course, if you convert this feat into skill ... I don't know, the rank of Force-Sensitve determine the maximum rank any one of your force powers may have at that time? Energy is energy. Although I have yet to see this displayed in the movie. Then again, someone else can cite me a source from the Expanded Universe era. That it is your game and I have nothing to say.
