Chaosium's Michael O'Brien will be joining the Sons of Singularity, creators of The Sutra of Pale Leaves and Japanese Call of Cthulhu fans at KaijuCon in Nagoya, Japan next month.

KaijuCon is Nagoya’s first dedicated tabletop and board gaming convention. Its mission is to build a welcoming, international community of gamers in Japan — and make KaijuCon an annual tradition!

This one day convention will feature an official launch party and book signing for the latest Call of Cthulhu release The Sutra of Pale Leaves. Most of the principal authors and artists will be present, along with Michael O'Brien who was Chaosium's producer of the series.

The event will also feature Chaosium TTRPGs and board games in three gaming sessions, offered in both Japanese and English.

We were delighted to be part of the official launch of The Sutra of Pale Leaves at Kaiju Con in Nagoya, Japan today. This two volume series reimagines the King in Yellow in 1980s Japan, a new setting for Call of Cthulhu.

Key members of the creative team were present and signed copies. The first volume, Twin Suns Rising, is available now. The second volume, Carcosa Manifest, will be out in general release Q3 this year.
