Earlier this week we talked about the huge slate of gaming sessions and panels at Chaosium Con Australia, coming up, June 27-29 in Melbourne. Here are some other cool things to get involved in next weekend!
The Great Pendragon Joust will take place during the game breaks each day between midday and 1pm, and between 4pm to 5pm. Everyone is welcome to choose one of the 8 Player-knights from the Pendragon Starter Set and take part in a quick joust against the other 7, until one is the victor. Each joust will take about 5 minutes and requires no rules knowledge, just a steady lance arm and a lucky dice roll. The champions from each group will then face off in the final joust each afternoon for actual prizes!
Look for the big castle in the main gaming area. Our mounted knight models have been painted by Nathan Ash from Good Games Ballarat.
If you want to sell items, download our Bring & Buy Chaosium Con Australia PDF from BRP Central. The Terms and Conditions has all the details about what you can sell, the commission on item price, when you can drop off and when you must pick up items, and much more. You’ll need to print and prepare a Bring & Buy Slip for each item you plan to sell.
Seeing Chaosium gold from days of yore change hands is always a thrill at every Chaosium Con, especially in this, our 50th year. We can’t way to see what you bring in, and wish everyone good hunting!
Writer gatherings are often the place where new book ideas are born. Maybe yours will spring into your brain at this year’s dinner?
And, if you’d rather just talk about the day’s gaming, there are plenty of tables available. Last year’s end of day dinners were one of the many things that make Chaosium Con Australia such a convivial event. We can’t wait to see you there!
Get your Sun Theatre tickets here – note, this screening is open to the general public, so ask your non-gamer friends along. Door Prizes by Chaosium. We encourage the audience to come in Call of Cthulhu-themed costume!
If you'd like to join us, purchase a badge at the Aetherworks website here and then we will give you the link to the Chaosium Con Australia page at Tabletop Events. There you will be able to start building your personal timetable for the convention. You can register for all standard gaming sessions, panels, and other events at NO COST.
