I have had no problems with XP in Fusion on my Mac as well. Technically, it can't be a Mac issue as you're running it in a virtual machine which simulates the hardware and fully runs the OS you choose (Windows 7 in this case). I would suspect it has much more to do with Win7 than anything else. I haven't had experience yet with Win7 (Have it installed on one VM but haven't used it yet) but I would suggest checking for Permission problems maybe? Or when you go to launch the CB run it as "administrator" (I think that's a procedure in Win7) so the installer launches in an administrative mode. I've had problems with Server 2008 and running certain applications (MS Daemons even) that don't give any errors but as soon as I run it in Admin mode it works fine, similarly w/ installers. Yes, even though I am logged in as a Domain Admin I have these problems, annoys me to no end. If I can get a moment or 10 I'll try the installer in my Win7 VM and see if I have any problems.
