Message: <blockquote data-quote="Rigaal" data-source="post: 1684525" data-attributes="member: 13590">Heya, everybody!  I've started this new group and we have all decided to try something new.  My idea was to have a PC with basically no background although his main focus was the bow.  Of course he's a Grey Elf since they are so drawn to perfection.The question ensues...  What would be the best route to take?  The restrictions are pretty low as we are following the Gestalt variant rules from UA.  I was thinking Fighter/Ranger 5 until I reached prerequisites for Deepwood/Fighter 2; then Peerless Archer/(Alternating Fighter and Ranger) 8+ and then ???.  I would like him to have his own style of archery and not be a Legolas clone, but there doesn't seem to be any other choice.  I haven't seen anything specifically geared to the archer class so I don't know if I'm missing a store of knowledge somewhere.   <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f615.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":confused:" title="Confused    :confused:"  data-smilie="5"data-shortname=":confused:" />When I take my turn DMing I'm definitely going to include Dragons as a large part in the adventures because I've never used them before either.  So the Draconamicon will be picked through a lot.  I even considered taking a Dragonnel as a mount and maybe the Dragon Rider PrC.  The detraction from my art was a little too much though.With this CL config. the ability to Threaten a 10 ft. area with Manyshot and +4 Arrows would be great at 15th level.  A group of Monsters wouldn't be any worse than just one.  Not to mention the loooong list of feats that would accompany that many levels in fighter.Comments??</blockquote>
