Heylo all, First I hate asking for help as I feel a character is something personal but it seems I have been grinding out characters lately and I'm running out of thoughts. Also I have the base concept, just need to round her out a bit. I am creating a new character for a sub-campaign(16th level). I am looking at creating a monk with some "scout/treasure hunting" capabilties. Character Background: Race: Tiefling She was born from the birth of a Archmage's Daughter(latent magic) and Githzerai(sp). She has natural monk talents (between levels 11 - 13) from her father. She recently found a Ancestral Relic(BoED) when her grandfather died, that has spirits bound to it(taken leadership feat). It is a pair of magical dragon claws/gauntlets designed for monks. The cohorts and followers will be ghosts that are bound to the relic. The Cohort is going to be a Dragon that was bound to the gauntlets when created. The followers will be previous owners that have had some of their essence tied to the item. The ghosts though powerful in their own can only manifest themselves at a lower level (based on leadership feat)[this will control levels and such]. This in itself is a lot (sorry skimped 4 page background), but I have a few spare levels (16th level campaign entering) so I was thinking that since she found the claws the dragons spirit has sort of led her into a treasure hunting career, thus I am looking to add a few PrC levels. I could easily add Rogue being a Tiefling, but that doesn't seem right. Looking at the Royal Treasure Hunter from the Sword and Fist supplement, but again doesn't match, looks a little too formal. So looking for some input (minimally the last 2 levels, but if its good could drop monk to 11th and add 4 levels) to round out the character concept. Thoughts/Things I like: - Duelist: Canny Dodge(INT AC bonus) and BAB - Royal Treasure Hunter: Explorer Lore (Bardic Knowledge) - Loremaster: (True Lore) I started making a custom PrC "Relic Hunter" that is roughly based on the Royal Treasure Hunter, but I don't feel its good, so looking for outside input for other options that are already used/played. Additional Notes: I am possibly taking the Spellfire feat (read the latent Magic from her grandfathers side), but it needs to be approved by the GM. Even if it is approved it is an ability that was just awakened. Her mother died long ago and she lives with her grandfather who collected items (the gauntlets being one such relic). In an explosion that killed him she was saved (because the spellfire absorbed the magic awakening it). thus she really doesn't know about the spellfire yet. Thanks.
