That's something each of the players/DMs will have to work out for themselves. The PC is supposed to be true neutral, so alignment conflicts shouldn't come into play. We already have a PC Druid/Ranger with a stick up his... back about Apothacaries selling rare animal parts. He's quickly becoming a serial killer, and his alignment is rapidly heading towards Evil. If we can put up with him... And it's entirely plausible, in game terms, for our enemies to try and slip a ringer into our ranks. So even if there ends up being inter-party conflict, it's one of those things we should just be able to play through. As an update: The player thought that the Half Vampire template make him undead, as in healed by negative energy and harmed by positive. I pointed out that the template doesn't actually say that anywhere, and gave him the option of running it either way. After some thought he decided to have a heartbeat. If he hadn't there would have been that terrible scene when his character went negative in combat and one of the clerics tried to heal him. It would have made for a short if colorful career. Instead of trying to run the Vow of Poverty route, he's now pursuing the Draconic Heritage feat chain. For some reason he seems to be envisioning his spell caster in close combat, a role that most spell casters avoid like the plague. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up going with this. I've spoken to another DM who's played with him, and he concurs that the player doesn't know the rules very well. It will be an education when it's his turn to DM an adventure. The DM can't be wrong, but he will run into a lot of raised eyebrows and more than a few rules questions.
