She wears small glasses with light blue lenses and boltgun metal frames, which sit on the end of her slightly pointed nose. She is almost always wearing a plain black backpack, hanging by one strap on her left shoulder. Background
Daniele was born in the French city of Paris, nineteen years ago, on May 15th. She grew up in a well-mannered home. She was well-educated, and taught by some of the finest teachers France had to offer. Daniele was meticulous in her studies, never ignoring anything. She wasn't particularly interested in anything, though she was into one subject or another for a few months every year or so. However, after several years, she discovered a concept: artificial intelligence. She became obsessed with the idea, and studied everything about it that was available. Her interests in computer science, computer engineering, and neurobiology increased, to the detriment of her other studies. When she turned 17, she graduated from high school, and submitted admission forms to one of the colleges in Southampton, in England, as she'd heard good things about it from one of her relatives. She was accepted.
Daniele left her family, and is currently studying at the Southampton University. Though only a couple of years in, she is already an accomplished programmer, and works with the school's sysadmin in protecting the school's networks. Her major is a split major in Computer Science and Neurobiology.
In addition to having interest in artificial intelligence, Daniele also enjoys tinkering; having found instructions on the 'net, she has constructed a small arsenal out of electrical implements and other items in her free time. She also sometimes works on her Ducati, which was a gift from a close friend when she left France.
However, going to school is very expensive - and while Daniele and her family are relatively well-off, she was still too poor to afford real accomodations. She searched for a home, and found a rented house that was inhabited by several other people. Not really minding having to share a home with others, she went ahead and, and a few calls and a week later, she was living there, surrounded by strangers.

Personality
Daniele is a relatively friendly person. She isn't terribly outgoing, but she's not shy, either. She takes her work seriously, and doesn't appreciate others making fun of her for it. She isn't all work, either, though - she took a dancing class in high school, and isn't afraid to show off her talents. She is a little reserved, as not being in her home country has made her a little nervous, but she is settling in.
In a conflict, she is more likely to either ignore it altogether or to try to take on the role of mediator. If there is a clear aggressor, she sides against them. When dealing with people who have problems, she tries to take on the role of counsellor, trying to help them out as best as she can.
Though she's been in England for a little over a year, she still isn't used to speaking English all the time, and occassionally lapses back into French. She usually only does this when stressed, surprised, or not paying too close attention, and she usually corrects herself rather quickly.
Daniele is ambidexterous, but she favors her left hand.
