I'd say, "my character does X-" and then he'd interrupt me with this... stuttering, nascent voice to inform me that if he were me he'd do Y, or that he wasn't sure RAW allowed X when interpreted literally. We would all wearily explain to him that he was not me, or anyone else, and especially not the DM. He also tended to try to correct the math on other peoples' character sheets when, not being the person who made the character, he overlooked whatever feature was causing the apparent discrepancy. I don't mind people occasionally looking out for me to make sure I'm doing everything right, and this guy WAS right every now and then, but geez. It's bad enough getting constantly interrupted, and worse when the person interrupts you just to waste the first five seconds saying "um" and "ah" and loudly stammering the first syllable of his objection.</blockquote>
