Alan “Colt” Huston
Learned to fly in the Royal Air Force of England in the early 20’s. His father and mother both from East London had him volunteer at age twenty, after four year of training he had been dismissed with his graduation papers in hand for a minor sight problem. He was no qualified to meet the strict standards of the Royal Air Force.
Alan went to the States on a recommendation of one of his fathers friends, a Phd in English and Literature at New York College. A College with old history as it was founded in 1847. John Hill was became Alan’s best friend even if they had a age gap of thirty years.
Alan had the nickname Colt as the Colt M1911, his friends named him that because he always said he was going to get one. Alan was a pistol enthusiast going to gun ranges to practice his aim twice a week if he not was flying some commercial airliner.
Alan got on the Expedition on bare recommendation of his old friend John Hill that had heard of the Expedition in its early phase in the Academics Clubhouse.
