CHATEAU OF MYSTERY
The player characters have been invited to visit a cousin (or friend) who has recently been married to a fabulously weathy man, the lord of Trecesson. While he is gone he has asked his new bride to enjoy herself by entertaining her friends - and to spare no expense. A "holiday" of leisure, sports, and clever entertainments await as the PCs arrive to reunite with their dear friend, but all is not as it seems... some dark secret haunts the halls of the “Chateau of Mystery”.

Chateau of Mystery
is an adventure for the historical fantasy role-playing game, Medieval Tales. It weaves together elements of Arthurian legend and Breton folklore, the plot involving a bucolic holiday in the country for a group of young lords and ladies who seek only romance, unaware of a darker secret lying just beneath the surface of Trecesson.

Features of this product include:

* A romance-themed adventure with rules for "wooing", as well as details on the seven ladies and five lords present at the castle of Trecesson when the PCs visit.

* A detailed look at the legendary forest of Broceliande, the "Forest of Adventure" frequently referenced in Arthurian tales, along with keyed areas.

* Maps of the castle of Trecesson, a fortified country chateau lying on the fringes of Broceliande.

* Printable color pages that will allow the GM to construct a scale model of a faux castle, to be used as the centerpiece of the indulgent passtimes of the visiting guests ("Siege of The Castle of Love").
