Cheap plastic knights?

I am running a King Arthur game using the book by RPGObjects. My players have latched onto the idea of attaining various "Spectral Knight" prestige classes (the blue knight, the red knight, the green knight, the purple knight, and the white knight). I was wondering if there is anywhere I can buy cheap plastic knights of the appropriate colours (and ideally of the appropriate size for a regular 1" grid).

I could just get metal ones and have them painted, I suppose. Currently I have an idea of using minuratures with tiny coloured happy face stickers, but I am not sure that will go over well.

There are a number of online stores selling 25mm (1:72) plastic knights. For instance, Classic Toy Soldiers, has a number of medieval toy-soldier sets. For $7, you can get a set of men-at-arms. For $8, you can get a set of mounted Teutonic knights.

The other thing is that the 25mm sets will look anemic next to the 28-30mm scale used today. I recognized one of the 25mm sets as the same figures I once bought from a company named Airfix (IIRC). While they are scaled correctly for 25mm and not oversized to emphasize certain features (like today's minis are), they look tiny when mixed in with more 'modern' minis. They might work as halflings or gnomes, though.

Of course, this all assumes you would want to use the figures for d20/D&D type gaming, and have other figures already. If you're a wargamer, or just a miniatures enthusiast, feel free to ignore my babbling.
