Or rather, paid a plastics manufacturer to make some custom ones:

It's nice actually having a Gargantuan Centipede, as you'd be surprised just how many modules call for one.

(EDIT: I'm selling the leftover Gargantuan bases on this thread: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=198354 , if anyone's interested)

Sweet. How?

Myself and a bunch of other guys made a group order (~$120) to a plastics fabricator. Turns out it's rather easy for them to cut black plastic into precise squares, so now we have bases for gigantic monsters like the McFarlane Dragons and others.

I plan on using a plastic toy to make a Gargantuan Cachalot Whale, for instance, and perhaps a Gargantuan Spider.

(I do have a few extra bases, if people are interested)

I'll just say that I make my bases out of balsa wood, spray painted black. Not quite the same texture but it looks the same. I mounted a McFarlane King Kong model that way for a "WG6: Isle of the Ape" session a year or two back.
