Just got back from games day, and wanted to post about it before crawling in an unmarked grave and dying. I played in the 2nd slot with mark as DM, we were lucky enough to get the private gaming room. ( for those of you who havent been to Games Plus in Mount Prospect Ill, this is large room big enough to hold 9 players and a DM. The seats are all comfortable, and it's ventilated enough that you can sit that many comfortably.) Before our game began, there was a random drawing for some nice stuff donated by several different gaming companies. I was lucky enough to walk away with a copy of the wheel of time D20 release, and several other very nice game supplements and aids. Mark and Eric both both took turns passing stuff out, and everyone there left with something cool. Mark then started our game, wich I will give you some highlights while trying not to give any big parts of the adventure away. I wouldnt want to spoil it for anyone who may run in it in the future. A big frickin bear tried to eat us, we killed it after it had it's improved grab session with three of the players. I still cringe at the thought of bear musk! Karadan deafend our party in an attempt to kill insects, the inside of my helmet still rings.... Glaide killed a pink looking bird, and shattered the tooth it carried in it's beak... Dimere honed his lumberjack skills by climbing numerous trees, and helped coin the moto of our group " Run AWay!!!!". Karadan hates mutton and sometimes goes by the name of enos... Kreen likes to dance with the wenches in full plate armor, and when Dimere eats you have to wear a rain coat. Chim Chim is a rampant snoop, and Philis the chamber pot girl has quite the reputation. I leave you with one more take from our adventure thank you for the great game Mark, Curt and everyone else who attended and made it great. And from kreen too Kristy. " You still owe the party that table dance." Ejja
