This is a new prestige class I've been working on. Please critique all aspects, from balance to spelling. If you don't think something belongs, or you think it's missing something, please say so. I've attached a Word document, for those who want to read a prettier format.

Chosen Companion of Lastai

The Companions of Lastai are well known throughout the world as the premier artists of pleasurable company. On the outside, the Companion’s Guild is merely what it appears to be; a high class circle of the world’s most skilled entertainers. But within the guild there are those with more unique specialties; those chosen by Lastai to shape the events of the world around them. Because of their talents, the guild has gained an unfounded reputation for spying and meddling with government affairs. But the Companions have no idea where those rumors come from…

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Chosen Companion of Lastai prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Chosen Companions of Lastai gain proficiency with two of the following: Hand Crossbow, Garrotte, Fingernail Blades, Mouth Blades, Weighted Hair Tie, Lady’s Protector, War Fan, Whip.
Spells per Day: A Chosen Companion of Lastai gains the ability to cast a small number of Divine spells. To cast a spell, she must have a Charisma score of at least 10 + the spell level. Bonus spells are based on Charisma, and saving throws against the spells have a DC of 10 + spell level + Charisma modifier. The Chosen Companion of Lastai spell list is as follows.
0 – Level: Amanuensis, Detect Magic, Ghost Sound, Know Direction, Mage Hand, Mending, Prestidigitation, Open/Close, Silent Portal
1 – Level: Amplify, Comprehend Languages, Deep Breath, Disguise Self, Grease, Nystul’s Magic Aura, Pass Without Trace, Phantom Threat, Sleep, Undetectable Alignment
2 – Level: Absorb Weapon, Alter Self, Bear’s Endurance, Cat’s Grace, Darkvision, Detect Thoughts, Eagle’s Splendor, Invisibility, Locate Object, Phantom Foe, Spider Climb
3 – Level: Amorphous Form, Deep Slumber, Glibness, Water Breathing
Sexual Immunity: At will, a Chosen Companion of Lastai can render herself immune to pregnancy and mundane diseases. This counts as a supernatural ability.
Inspired Defense: A Chosen Companion of Lastai may add +1 to her AC per point of Charisma modifier. This bonus may not exceed her class level.
Improved Unarmed Strike: A Companion must know how to defend herself at all times, no matter where she is. Accordingly, she gains Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat at 1st level.
Personable: A Companion excels at social performance. Beginning at 2nd level, she gains a bonus to Bluff, Diplomacy, Gather Information, and Sense Motive equal to ½ her Chosen Companion level, rounded down.
Edetic Memory: At 3rd level, if a Chosen studies a sheet of paper for 1 full round, she can commit it to memory down to minute detail. A Chosen of Lastai may have the equivalent of one sheet of paper per point of Intelligence bonus memorized at a time. This number may not exceed her class level.
Quick Change: At 3rd level, a Chosen Companion may don and remove clothing in ¼ the normal time, disguises in 1/3 the normal time, and armor in ½ the normal time.
Vigilant: A Chosen Companion must be alert in every way. Starting at 5th level, she gains a bonus to Spot, Listen, and Search checks equal to ½ her Chosen Companion level, rounded down.
Fast Acrobatics: A Chosen Companion can avoid the normal penalties for accelerated movement while using her acrobatic talents. She ignores the normal -5 penalty when making a Balance check when moving at her full normal speed. She can climb at half her speed without taking a -5 penalty on her Climb check. Finally, she can tumble at full speed without taking a -10 on her Tumble check.
Stealthy: Discretion is the key to being a good Companion. A Chosen Companion must be able to get into and out of places without notice. At 8th level, she gains a bonus to Hide, Move Silently, and Disable Device equal to ½ her Companion level, rounded down.
Enhanced Low Light Vision: Because of the Nature of their services, Companions become accustomed to functioning in areas with low light. As a result, at 9th level, a Chosen Companion of Lastai gains the Low Light Vision special ability. If the Companion already has Low Light Vision, whether through racial or class feature, the distance for the Low Light Vision ability doubles.
Hide in Plain Sight: At 10th level, a Companion may use the Hide skill, even while being observed. As long as she is within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, a Chosen Companion may hide herself from view in the open, without anything to actually hide behind. She cannot, however, hide in her own shadow.

That's an awful lot of skills to require. How about cutting it down to just the 13-pointers?

Inspired Defence looks very iffy - consider a someone in full armour. Is it cumulative with Divine Shield? What about a monk's Wis bonus to AC, or a duellist's Int Bonus to AC? As is, it's an unnamed bonus so it's cumulative with all of them. I'd suggest that Inspired Defence require no armour, and be cumulative with the duellist's AC bonus but not the monk's. How you'd write that up, I'm not sure.

Spells: wouldn't it be better to give +1 level of bard spells every other level?

What are the Dashing and Charming feats?

Nasty builds might be Ftr 2 / Rog 8 / Du 5 / CCL 5 or Bd 6 / Rgr 4 / Du 5 / CCL 5

Thanks for the input!

I put a lot of pre-reqs in, because the biggest problem I get when I make PrCs is that I overpower them. This class is above all, a skills-focused class. But if you think the class would maintain balance with fewer pre-reqs, I can change it.

I don't see why it wouldn't be cumulative with divine shield. But DS is a limited time per day use, and limited by rounds. I don't see this being a game breaker. As far as Monks or Duellists taking this PrC, I suppose that if you could work being a Duelling Unarmed Prostitute into a feasable backstory, than you deserve to get the bonuses.

Spells: wouldn't it be better to give +1 level of bard spells every other level?

That's pretty much restricting the PrC to a previous bard, and I really wanted to make it it's own entity.

What are the Dashing and Charming feats?

Dashing is a 1st level only feat that gives you an extra 4 skill points at 1st level (and 1 point every level theirafter) to be used only on a charisma based skill. Charming is like Alertness for Diplomacy and Bluff.

Nasty builds might be Ftr 2 / Rog 8 / Du 5 / CCL 5 or Bd 6 / Rgr 4 / Du 5 / CCL 5

Is this a deal-breaker for the class? I mean, every class or Prc out there has the potential to be min-maxed. The ones you listed above would certainly give the player high AC (assuming he had the Int and Cha scores to back it up) but seeing as how the player would then be restricted to wearing no armor, I don't think their AC would be that much higher than their companions.

This is not a dungeoneering class. Most people don't wear armour in cities, so the cumulative armour bonuses are significant. And this is an ideal assassin class.

As for the bard levels, I think I could have been a bit clearer: I was thinking that the character would gain bardic casting if she didn't have it before.

It looks fairly balanced to me. If you're interested in seeing other similar classes, Traps and Treachery has a Discreet Companion PrC that shares the "companion who is really more" angle, and Celebrant of Sharess shares the "exalted adherent of a goddess of pleasure" angle. Although it looks like you're downplaying the Exalted part of Lastai's portfolio, so maybe the second one isn't useful.
