[QUOTE="(Psi)SeveredHead, post: 125087, member: 1165"] FR is a place swimming with magic and high-level characters. The Chosen would have trouble finding and beating them all, seeing how Red Wizards can be their most potent foes (Alustriel was nearly killed by a Red Wizard once, Khelben and Laerel had to save her). Have you seen the Red Wizard PC? Great Circle? I think the Chosen is very dead. Besides, in some of the *Chosen* books, Mystra has told Chosen what to do. Probably not in so few words as I've listed below, but you'll get the point." "Storm, go kill the son of Bane in Cormyr." Fight a Malugrym who thinks he's Bane? Storm said something about how she had been brutally drafted to save the world again. "Elminster, go to Myth Drannor." Right , an elven death trap, full of high mages who hate him, and elves who tend to "shoot humans first and ask questions later". Even the Coronal (his friend!) threatened to kill him if he "made the wrong choice." If all those mages had worked together, Elminster would have been a goner. (Actually, they did kill him, and he spend time as a ghost before an evil high mage rescued him and made him a servant.) No, the Chosen are limited because they are human (or perhaps a few other races) after all. No amount of scrying or Prying Eyes spells could keep Khelben ahead of all the evil groups threatening just the city of Waterdeep (and Khelben cares little about what happens outside of Waterdeep). And Mystra doesn't drop in every few weeks with a list of targets to eradicate, plans to disrupt, etc. Alustriel is too busy running a kingdom to steal Szass Tam's artifacts away, etc. Nope, they're just too busy to effectively fight evil.
