The blade is worked steel. You can see the etching in the blade if you look close. It's an example of a typical, well crafted, Cimmerian dirk. It's simple in design. Cimmerians make these weapons with slightly more rounded blades when compared to other dirks of the world. It's a utilitarian blade for the hard life of a Cimmerian clansman. This one has a serrated edge on the upper blade near the handle. This is used to saw through rope and leather cord. The pommel is wide and curved at the end.
