That & Southern Comfort are great little movies, and possibly inspirational for Predator.

There are poisonous spiders on 6 of the 7 continents. They're surprisingly common around people. And at least 99.99% of all interactions are no harm to the humans. but they can be used to highlight various infestations...
Corvids make for excellent city encounters, too. These avian dinos are wickedly smart. They can, and do, make tools, use tools, and clearly can make a plan for which they need a tool, then go make that tool and come back with said tool to open the puzzlebox. They can be, and have been, trained to steal from stores and individuals. They can and do hold grudges, sometimes for years. They act on those grudges. They can learn to understand commands, including multi-step ones.
Which makes them great NPCs to use in a city. They won't talk, but they can be crafty foes. Or potent allies.

I guess I've seen 3 of the movies @Dannyalcatraz listed. That's more hunting human movies than I realised.
