I asked a few of the questions noted above on their pre-launch kickstarter page which they answered in their latest newsletter. Probably a good idea to add these to the Kickstarter page FAQ, but I will copy them below for us here: Q&A I cannot add FAQs to the Kickstarter page until after it goes live, but here are answers to some of the questions that came in over the last few days. Q. How much will The City of Brass cost? A. Our post-launch subscription costs are not yet final. One of the purposes of beta is to validate our cost estimates. We will announce the prices as soon as we can. Q. Can you export content? A. Not yet, but we intend to develop a feature to export your content to PDF. It will not be ready prior to beta. Q. Do all players require a subscription or just the GM? A. Everyone that uses The City of Brass is required to have their own account. With the exception of World Builder Districts, content is visible only to those with active subscriptions. Q. Are their plans for a shopfront with purchasable content? A. Absolutely. This will be a future enhancement, however, and not ready prior to launch. In the interim, publishers wishing to have content available in The City of Brass should contact me directly and we can discuss options. Q. Can we share data with others and/or create community content? A. Our intention is to build a Community Contribution center where The City of Brass users can create and share content. Development on this has not yet begun, and will not occur until after beta. Q. What about copyright issues? A. To use The City of Brass you must agree to our Terms of Service, including refraining from using intellectual property that does not belong to you. We will address alleged copyright violations on a case-by-case basis. Q. Will there be examples of actual content? A. In some cases yes. Some World Builder districts, for example, can be viewed today by visiting https://thecityofbrass.com/wb. A selection of spells, feats, abilities, and creatures will be available in the Stock Rules engine, and we intend to provide some adventures, but are working through the delivery system for them. Q. Is The City of Brass a Virtual Table Top? A. No.
