City of Sin

I've finally got my copy of Savage Species and I've found on page 102 following text:

"Other products, such as Book of Vile Darkness, City of Sin, and Lords of Darkness..."

My question is - what the hell is City of Sin???

The only City of Sin that comes to my mind is Shelzar...

Anybody?

Actually the first place that comes to mind is New Orleans ... which is the kind of witty comment I think WotC can expect if/when they release a "City of Sin" suppliment.

To answer your question: I do not know, but I have heard rumors about such a title. I've also been a little out of the gaming community for a couple of months, so you'll probably want to get someone else's answer.

we don't know. i started a thread a while back on this and got very few responses.

I do remember Sean K Reynolds basically confirming that there was work being done on a book by this name when he was still at WotC.

That didn't stop them from using the name Fiend Folio after the advertisements for Tome of Horrors used the phrase "Folio of Fiends" in its advertisement.. Of course I don't know when the advertisement (seen in The Vault of Larin Karr by Necromancer Games) came out compared to "Fiend Folio" and it was just an advertisement, not an actual name used with Tome of Horrors as far as I know (I don't have either book .

I'm courious if this book (City of Sin) comes out from more mature branch (like BoVD or BoED) or this "Sin" is only a silly kind of promotion

Strange - publishing in your book a title of suplement, which isn't even in catalogue is pretty unusuall...
