I also have the Civ board game, and the board size is an issue.  I don't have a table large enough for it and two dogs, so I'm not going to be playing it much right now.  I'll probably drag it to a friend's place and try again later.  It isn't really a full-scale Risk game.  I played with two other people one time, we were done in about an hour and a half.  There's a set limit on when things get done and the game ends based on techs researched.  Guess that's it for now.</blockquote>
