Clairvoyance and the magical sensor

I was wondering what check you would make, and what the DC would be to notice the magical sensor created by the clairaudience/clairvoyance spell.

The spell description states, "The spell creates and invisible sensor, similiar to that created by a scrying spell. that can be dispelled."

Fine, so we look to the scrying spell for details of this sensor.

The scrying spell states, "This spell creates a magical sensor near the subject. Any creature with Intelligence 12 or higher can notice the sensor by making a Scry check (or an intelligence check) against DC20.

Now, in the clairaudience spell it states that the sensor created is invisible in addition to being similiar to that created by a scrying spell. The scrying spell does not say whether the sensor is invisible or not.

Would the check be the same for both spells to notice the sensor or should the clairaudience spell be a higher check since the sensor is invisible? Should a scry check even be used against clairudience since technically you are not scrying?

I agree with Bret. The DC of 20 makes it a very hard check for most players unless they have very good ranks in Scry, which is as it should be. It is invisible, after all.
