Classed Drow in Monster Manual IV

I know there are a bunch of drow with class levels in the new MM -- I think some have ninja levels. Are there any with duskblade or scout levels?

Actually, if you replaced the name "ninja" with "assassin", I think the idea of giving "assassin" levels to a Drow is a really good one. :)

Cheers!

Oh good. I'm not the only crazy person who was thinking that.

Though I have to say too, that Drow Duskblades could be a wicked thing. I dunno, it just works. Maybe I am going insane. :uhoh:

I play a Drow Duskblade in the new Xen'drik Expeditions RPGA living campaign. It is a wicked combination. And very appropriate.

So no, you are not going insane. Unless I am, too. Which is entirely possible.

*phew* Glad to hear it. :)

Funny thing is, I used to look scornfully at Drow (just like all the other noncomformists did ;) ). But I've been having this yearning for running a 'classic' Underdark campaign, once I'm done with current and imminent projects. Pure D&D, spidery badness, caverns and catacombs, crystal cities, the whole shebang.

The truth is this: Drow are cool. (And I don't mean that in the *kewl* sense of the word, either). There is something really great about a subterranean race of mystery, intrigue and nasty magic.

However, there was a period there when drow would be under every rock you turned over; mainly due to their usage in the Realms.

They no longer have their initial mystery, but they're still a good race - especially if you don't use them all the time.

Cheers!
