Is there a more "flavorful" Cleric Domain than the Law Domain out there dealing with justice and retribution? I was hoping for something appropriate for a Lawful Neutral Cleric, an Inquisitor -- stern and unforgiving. Some suggestions: 0-Level -- Detect Magic, Guidance, Resistance, and Virtue might fit a Lawful Neutral Cleric, but they don't necessarily belong in a Justice Domain. 1st-Level -- Command fits an agent of the law. Sanctuary seems to have an element of fairness. I can see an Inquisitor casting Bane, Bless, Cause Fear, Detect Chaos/Evil, Divine Favor, Doom, Protection from Chaos/Evil, Remove Fear, and Shield of Faith, but none of those seem especially just or lawful. 2nd-Level -- Perhaps a righteous executioner would cast Death Knell. An agent of the law could cast Hold Person, announcing the victim's crimes. Zone of Truth certainly fits. 3rd-Level -- Bestow Curse, at least used in a more classic Ravenloft style seems perfect for dispensing poetic justice. (Used to decrease an Ability score by six, it doesn't really fit.) Blindness/Deafness might also be an appropriate punishment for certain crimes. Anyone have any better ideas for a Justice Domain than the bland Law Domain? As it stands, the Law Domain is primarily a list of attacks and defenses against monsters with the "Chaotic" label.
