At least if a Wizard took the Magic Initiate Feat to learn Heal Wounds, he'd only be learning one spell. With this, the Wizard, who could do virtually any type of magic but healing, just outclassed the cleric. So hard, in fact, that you'd never see a cleric played in your games again. Anyone presented with this feat and seeking to optimize their caster, would just take the Divine spellcasting feat and shame the Cleric every step of the way. Because technically, a Wizard can cast Divine Spells using Wish, so even the stipulation of your feats not allowing them to learn beyond 5th level doesn't apply.It should do something like "(Prerequisite, able to cast 2nd level Divine or Arcane Spells) You learn two spells of your choice, one of which is of 1st level and the other is of 2nd level. If you are a Wizard, you may now add them to your spellbook without spending the gold cost to write the spells in."</blockquote>
