"Rav I'd say no. It works on spells cast, not potions brewed. Rav" The act of making a potion is just like casting a spell. It's just that you "cast the spell" into the mix, as I'm understanding it. "the act of brewing triggers the prepared spell" as the DMG says, so you still work it. "After re-reading the PrC RSoP, it says when you 'cast' a heal spell. :/ I guess having a 42hp potion would kinda be a bit much. Ave Rage" I'd have to go with what I said about Rav's statement. A spell caster doesn't just "dump" magic in, or turn his back and go, "You better get in there", he(or she) has to shove it in a tiny bottle. Also, this is a level 16 cleric, he can cast HEAL 4 times a day, along with a miriad of other curative spells. I don't see these potions as being too far out. "Thanee Because all magic items have prerequisites and costs dependant on their effect. If you brew a potion of maximized cure critical wounds, this will be a 7th level effect, and you would require the Brew Potion and Maximize Spell feats and the Cure Critical Wounds spell in its making. Bye Thanee" I'm guessing you aren't familiar with the Radiant Servant of Pelor, well, let shine the light upon your heathen eyes. At level 10, the RSoP gets Supreme Healing, making all spells they cast from the healing domain be affected by the Maximize and Empower Feat (and here's the important part) without raising the actual level spot used. You can still make that level 3 healing spell, that has been enhanced so much, as it still meets the pre-reqs. The real question, I guess, is weither or not special abilities affect item creation. Does anyone know of a supplement that goes into greater detail of the potion making process?
