"Malcolm Reynolds stars in The Wizard of Oz"!
"Clint Eastwood is Alice in Wonderland"!
I'm very excited about this new game I'm starting. The idea is a psudo combination of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower Series", Gary Paulsen's "The Transall Saga", and Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials". All books I immensely enjoyed.
So far I've had one player want to play a 777 year old cowboy, and another a young man with mysterious (jedi) powers, wielding a sword made of light. Strangely I think they both fit wonderfully.
I'm still tossing around ideas of how this should start (That will probably get more solid as I hear more about characters), but my current idea is a shootout in front of the House of the Risin' Sun.
What do you guys think of the idea? Do you have any cool ideas of things that simply must happen in this crazy sort of game? (I'm already thinking of “King of Pain” by The Police and “Isis” by Bob Dylan may be somehow prophetic

yes, much like the Dark Tower series - all stories must come together!
