Fifth Element Games needs a d20 fantasy writer to complete work on a product in development. The product is partly written and the successful candidate will share writing credit. However, if the product is successful, follow-up products are planned and the successful candidate would have first "dibs" on the writing gigs for those books, assuming the quality of writing is sufficient.
Product is to include discussion of and commentary on a group of related SRD rules (skills, feats, mechanics, etc - specifics to be discussed with serious candidates); as such the ability to bring fresh new ideas to existing concepts and mechanics is required. A strong knowledge of the d20 system is obviously a requirement. New feats, skill uses, prestige classes, etc to be developed as appropriate.
Approximately 5,000 words required. Payment will be 0.5 to 1 cent per word, depending on previous experience and quality. Timeline is negotiable, preferably from three to five weeks. Payment to be made by Paypal upon acceptance of manuscript. Complimentary copy of the product will be provided when published.
