Their skin still hangs from the corpse.The thing ... the thing that did it is just messed up. It is lying in the far corner of the room. I think it was sleeping, but who knows. It didn't spot me, of that I am sure. I think it works by vibrations, or something, for it sure as heck doesn't have eyes or anything else that I could se.It appears as a small, 3-foot sphere of gray-green flesh covered in a chitinous shell. Two 10-foot long tentacles protrude from the upper body. The leftmost tentacle resembles that of a squid. The rightmost tentacle ends in an ivory, needle-like projection. Eight smaller tentacles protrude from the lower body. It had no eyes, ears, or mouth.It is, without doubt, the strangest thing that I have ever seen. There is nothing else in the room though.
