This is simply a CofCD20 version of the DnD chupacapbra I posted here a few months ago. :) CHUPACABRA Small Beast Hit Dice: 2d10+2 (13 hp) Initiative: +3 (Dex) Speed: 20 ft. AC: 16 (+1 size, +3 Dex, +2 natural) Attacks: Claw +1 melee, bite -4 Damage: Claw 1d4, bite 1d6 Face/Reach: 5 ft. by 5 ft./5 ft. Special Attacks: Improved grab, blood drain Special Qualities: Leaping, darkvision 60 ft. Saves: Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +0 Abilities: Str 10, Dex 16, Con 12, Int 2, Wis 10, Cha 11 Skills: Hide +10, Move Silently +6, Jump +8, Spot +3 Challenge Rating: 1 Climate/Terrain: Any warm land Advancement: 2-3HD (Small) San Loss: 0/1d4 Lurking in the forests and on the edges of human society itself, the chupacabra is a small but terrifying beast. Vaguely humanoid in appearance, a chupacabra has a hunched back, short but wiry and strong limbs, and a large head filled with huge teeth. Its large eyes allow it to see easily in all but the darkest of nights—the time it chooses to hunt. Down the back of the beast is a mane of porcupine-like quills several inches long. Most chupacabras attack only small animals or children, but they are surprisingly strong despite their size. When very hungry or threatened, a chupacabra can and will attack creatures much larger than itself. COMBAT Chupacabras attack primarily with their claws, striking from ambush by leaping at prey from the darkness and holding them immobile while draining them of blood. Apparently blood is all these creatures can consume, since none have ever been know to take flesh from their prey. Improved Grab (Ex): A chupacabra that hits a Medium-size or smaller opponent with both claw attacks in a single round latches on and is allowed an automatic bite attack as a free action. Drain Blood (Ex): The bite of a chupacabra drains 1d3 temporary points of Constitution per round it remains attached. A Fortitude save (DC 12) is required to regain the lost Constitution. Leap (Ex): The powerful legs of a chupacabra enable it to jump without being limited according to its height. Skills: *A chupacabra has a +4 racial bonus to Jump checks. Winged Chupacabras About 1 in 10 chupacabras is born with operable, bat-like wings. These appendages allow the chupacabra to fly with a speed of 40 ft. and a maneuverability of poor. Since they have lighter frames and weaker bone structure, winged chupacabras take and extra point of damage from attacks by bludgeoning weapons.
