Found at the center of the sprawling forests of the Schwarzwald massif 'The Temple of the Blood Rose' is home to a clerical order of Paladins and open only to women. It is said that the Temple was constructed by a female Jack named Rose whose parents had died due to the affliction brought when Elle came to town. The girl Rose invoked the assitance of the Bona Dea who manifested and gave her comfort and a mission of Compassion for the Bona Dea was Maia the youngest of the Three Sisters and known to mortals as the Bona Dea, the eternal virgin and the Spring Maiden. The Spring Maiden does not hold a court but instead spends her time walking the Schwarzwald restoring life in the wake of her elder sister's passing. In this she is joined by many and not least by the Sisters of the Temple. Young virgin girls are recruited from the surrounding villages and taken to the Temple to be trained. During this time they are not allowed contact with males and even male animals are not allowed within the precincts of the Temple. During their time in the Temple the neophytes must wear a hooded robe stained red in the juice of the Blood Rose however on completion of there training they may remove the robe and return to their villages or roam the land as healers, counsellors and midwives. Hook: The PCs are asked to escort a neophyte through the Schwarzwald only to find that they are stalked by a Wolf who is more than he seems...
