Numerous players I DM with and myself seems to encounter weird interaction with the rules everywhere we go. Can you help me make some sense to them.

1- Can you Coup de Grace a Gargoyle in stoneform when it is alone? (Basically the barbarian would just put his entire strength behind the swing since the target is neither moving nor reacting to anything around him).

2- Same situation, could said barbarian benefits from Stonebreaker (level 2 utility)?

3- Can a warlock slice his hand open with his pact blade to trigger Hellish Rebuke? What kind of action would it be (I would say minor since it's not really as long as fetching something in your backpack)? What kind of damage would it be? 1? 1d4+str+magical bonus+whatever?

4- Can a prone creature crawl to enter another creature square? Ally only? Think halfling crawling between the goliath leg (but technically the opposite would also work if the first one did).

5- Can a Gelatinous Cube do anything to move past a shaman Spirit Companion? Squeeze with a speed of 3 is not really doable, or can you announce a double move and squeeze past it? Can you actually squeeze past enemies? Can a cube become a rectangle?

6- Can a dazed character make an acrobatic check to reduce falling damage? Specifically, are free action outside of your turn permitted when dazed?

7- Shaman, Spirit Companion and movement. Are they simultaneous or one after the other? Can they switch place?

I'm sure there was others, but for now that's all I have of the top of my head. Thank you very much for your help and/or ideas.

Technically, no. The gargoyle is not helpless, so no coup de grace. If your players ask why, tell them his anatomy is different now that he's in stone form, so there's no throat to crush or heart to stab

2- Same situation, could said barbarian benefits from Stonebreaker (level 2 utility)?
Technically, no, but if you want to let him, go ahead.

3- Can a warlock slice his hand open with his pact blade to trigger Hellish Rebuke? What kind of action would it be (I would say minor since it's not really as long as fetching something in your backpack)? What kind of damage would it be? 1? 1d4+str+magical bonus+whatever?
If I was inclined to allow it, I'd have him roll a melee basic attack against himself. The standard method is to provoke OAs for ranged attacks in melee. :)

4- Can a prone creature crawl to enter another creature square? Ally only? Think halfling crawling between the goliath leg (but technically the opposite would also work if the first one did).
Crawling is a move action to move half your speed. PH p.288 You could move through an ally's space, but not an enemy's (i.e. like normal movement).

5- Can a Gelatinous Cube do anything to move past a shaman Spirit Companion? Squeeze with a speed of 3 is not really doable, or can you announce a double move and squeeze past it? Can you actually squeeze past enemies? Can a cube become a rectangle?
See Squeezing, PH p. 292. While squeezing, I would allow the Double Move rule on page 284 to apply, even though it normally only applies to difficult terrain.

6- Can a dazed character make an acrobatic check to reduce falling damage? Specifically, are free action outside of your turn permitted when dazed?
See Dazed, page 277. "(you can also take free actions)"

7- Shaman, Spirit Companion and movement. Are they simultaneous or one after the other? Can they switch place?
Pretty much simultaneous. There's definitely no text to indicate a specific order between them.

Thank you for these answer/thought.

For point 4, I meant finishing the move in the other character space. Since the standing character can finish his move in the same space as a prone character (even an ennemy), could the prone character finish his crawl in the same space as a standing character.

I pictured this situation in my head with multiple character wanting to share the same space to get combat advantage on a foe.

New question that poped in my head: Is there a limit to the number of prone characters in the same square? Someone stand over an ally to protect him/allow him to shift when he will stand up, then that character get knocked prone, and the monster now shift on top of both of them.

Thanks again. If anybody has some weird happening in their game, please feel free to share. I'm reminded of the time we had to search to see if you could charge while prone. The idea was laughable, but the answer was hidden in the errata section.
