This reminds me of a puzzle in NeMoren's Vault. Next to a sealed door, there's a plaque that reads something like:
orange blue red yellow red green blue yellow orange
You have to do the same thing as in that test. It was too easy in my mind, so I had a monster providing time pressure. Well, the party needed three tries to get it open, and they were nearly dead by that point.

But I've done this before.
Just 8 times is too few... on the other one I did, I didn't start messing up until after the 15th or so item.

Heh, the first time I tried I got 0%... but then again, I didn't read the instructions. Instructions are for sissies anyway.

Not a problem for my as far as right/left brain is concerned, but my colour blindness played heck with the game. I spent quite a bit of time on each one trying to decipher the colour used. One, I think, had the word Green written in Red, (maybe one was brown?) and that was the only one i missed.
