Thanks for the review! Well, fair comments all. The release of the other colours has been substantially delayed, due to good old mundane life rearing its ugly head. The lack of completeness is probably very much emphasized by the other products not being there. I have scoped out all the colours and lists, but it is the nitty gritty of getting them all out there that takes the longest... I intend to start releasing the remainder in the beginning of 2005, and I will take onboard your comments in the next releases. In particular regarding including the old descriptors as a reference point in the spell lists. To address the various comments: Dynamics and Strength. OK, bit of a pre-curser to this, the base word Dynamics actualy has root in the Greek, with meaning of strength or power. The reasoning here is that what Dynamics taps into is manifest energy and force: when energy is free in the air it is lightning, and when in a material it is power to move, thus strength. Haste is treated as a time manipulation in my re-definition, which will show up in another colour, hopefully shortly. 0 level spells as part of domains is something I have been using in my games for a while now, and the Mystic character class has a list of the ones that have been alocated to the various standard domains. I include the 0 levels as a reference in all the Colours for those that happen to have that class and are interested. The advanced domain powers are a similar invention, and again to be discarded if not used. Glad you like photonics, I was afraid it was a little light in power (no pun intended)... :) Your point on the pyromancy base power is noted, and I will muse on this. I think the availability at will is something to be considered. Possible revision item. Re balance of the Battlemage: A limited spell list is actually a very harsh restriction in my mind. They are most comparable to (and based on) the cleric, as you mention, with the pluses being wider weapon proficiency and more destructive spells, and the minuses being no sheild and very limited spell list. In terms of replacing wizards and specialists, the classes for the colours are designed to be potentially used as replacements for the normal spellcasting classes (druids, wizards, sorcerers and clerics) if someone were to want to create a continent in their world where the colours of magic theory was prevalent, or for basing an entire universe on... but they could easily be in play from a school in the normal continent where the different magic theory is followed. The classes reside between specialist and sorcerer in my mind... but do not have the versitility of either of those classes. Sorcerers can choose spells from any school... Anyhow, once again, thank you very much for the well considered review, and all your thoughful comments. Will endeavour to be less wordy and repetative in the next bunch of releases... not that this comment shows it... ;) Warm regards Evan
