Why I decided to put all of this together during the Holiday Shopping season, I don't know. But here we are nonetheless.
As part of our New Year's initiative for Combat Advantage - a free-zine supporting 4E - we're just a couple of weeks away from releasing the first episode of our podcast, CA Live. Designed as a spotlight on the 4E industry, we'll be talking with and about various designers, publishers, advocates, and protesters of the 4th Edition of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. Our first episode will be a double-header featuring interviews with Morrus (conducted and edited yesterday) and Alluria Publishing (scheduled for next week). As such, I wanted to take the time to let everyone know CA Live is available for publishers and designers to promote upcoming products in a segment we call "Buy My Book!!" so let us know if you want to hack your wares.
On that note, Combat Advantage is always readily available for publishers to promote upcoming products. If you have a preview for a campaign setting, rules supplement, adventure, or what have you, CA is available to meet your needs. Each issue accrues at least 1000 downloads (and that's without the Community Supporters and various sites carrying the link for themselves) within a month and many of our earliest issues continue to download at least 100-250 times per month. Effective immediately, if you provide any issue of CA with content, we will provide you with up to three (3) months of free advertising - including full page ads! While specific download figures are in development and we work on setting a specific ad fees for non-contributors, anyone who contributes content will always receive free advertising. Send me a PM or email to warden@emeraldpresspdf.com for more details and upcoming availability.
Then to finish off this triad of announcement, CA has a Facebook page as well for fans to stay up to date on the latest content and previews of upcoming issues and podcasts.
That's it for now. Back to the most un-roleplaying thing I could ever do... shopping.
