combat management software

I use combat management software (DM's Familiar) to do all the in-combat calculations for me, such as attack rolls, grapple rolls, special monster attacks, reminders for monster qualities, powers, buffs, etc. That way I only have to calculate things once, when I enter the monster or PC in the system, and the program calculates things and reminds me of things during subsequent combats.

um, right. good to know.

Only problem I have with software is the monsters & PCs keep changing all of the time, and it's too much trouble to update than it is to just have a scorecard that you can update with pencil on the fly.
