the idealistic part of me wishes I had the funds to say, "Hey, how much for the TSR trademark? I'll buy it from you. Ernie, drop these jokers because they are only exploiting you and encouraging you to dig your hole even further. What is it about the 'good ol days" you really liked? Is it really keeping minorities out of the game and not being represented? Is it the sexist jokes? Is it the memory of only men sitting around smoking cigars? Are those the best parts of the old days? Because that's what you keep bringing up. Or is it the stories created when you were playing? Is it the way the rules were structured to facilitate a certain playstyle? You have an opportunity Ernie. I know how much your dad's legacy means to you and you really want to carry that torch. But guys like Justin aren't going to get that for you. Doubling down on exclusionary comments isn't going to do that. Own up to what you said, apologize for it, get rid of these toxic partners, and start putting out Adventure Paths that focus on what are truly the most important and fond memories you had back then. Focus on what it was that made those games fun and great, because I'm betting being sexist and exclusionary aren't it. You have a wealth of experience and first hand knowledge no one else has. Let me help you. I can do layout, working with freelances, publishing, running a business plan. Your ideas will be your ideas. But man, you gotta get a hold of this and learn to grow." But that will never happen.
