So it is not surprising many folks feel the time for polite debate is not only pointless, but a purposeful tactic made by bigots to maintain "both-side-ism" instead of actually listening in good faith.The reason I bring this up is because right now, many countries around the world, and in some states of the USA, are making attempts right now to restrict the right of trans people. So people are rightly very frustrated that polite discussion is going absolutely nowhere, and instead seems to be backsliding.</blockquote>
