"Not interested" seems to mean "Don't show me this particular video anymore" and it takes quite a few times of doing that before. If it gives you the option (it doesn't always) and you choose "tell us why" and choose "I've seen it already" then it counts like it's in your history. If you choose "I don't like this content" (or whatever it is) then it will tune towards the subject, and if you pick "I don't like this channel" then it blocks the whole channel.The biggest problem is if you pick the wrong thing by mistake, because then you have to hunt down how to undo it and they often change the interface for that. It's more forgiving that it feels like it is, but I suspect that it can sometimes be unforgiving. At the very least, I know that subscriptions, especially subscriptions with notifications, always override "don't show this channel" selections. Or, they have for me, at least.</blockquote>
